Judge Selection and Judging Process

The 2010 Good Government Award volunteer judges are:

• Todd Berry, President, Wisconsin Taxpayers' Alliance
• Gary Becker, Executive Director, Local Government Institute of Wisconsin
• Ed Huck, Executive Director, Wisconsin Alliance of Cities

All entries submitted by the entry deadline are compiled and distributed to the judging panel for review. Based on the judges' review, one winning entry in each category will receive a $1,000 Community Enhancement Grant. In the case of collaborative efforts, awards will be given at the judges' discretion.

Award winners are notified prior to the award presentation ceremonies and are publicly announced at the ceremonies.
